WWI Bairnsfather Postcard from the Trenches.

Postcard from the famous WWI cartoonist Bruce Bairnsfather. “Keeping His Hand In”, from the Fragments from France, Series 1.  Written in pencil on the rear, addressed to Mis C. Openshaw, 21 Red Bank Rd, Radcliffe, Lancs. Postmark is July, 1916. “Dear Clara, You have made a good start at writing. Just try again and make it a bit longer next time. Just think of me when you are having chips. With love, Wilfred”. Minor crease to left bottom edge, otherwise very good condition.
