Good quality silver bracelet, the maker's are H & S, who were an Australian company that were very active in New Zealand & Australia in the 1960s and 70s, when many of this type of bracelet were made, and were very fashionable for the young ladies of the period. (They may still be active today, but during this early period, most of the snap bangles I see are made by them). This one is oval, hollow silver, with a plain rear and an engraved and brightwork front side with pretty acanthus scrolls. It has a safety chain. Inside it is engraved with the dedication "To Jacky, Happy Birthday, love Dad. 14/4./70".  It has a further engraving inside the rear panel, "Kate Peach".  Measurements:  internal width 5.87 cm, internal depth 5.16 cm. Height: 1.6 cm. Very good condition, no dents, a good quaity item that has been well looked after.  TSW: 23.4g.
