Vintage Pounamu Jade Clip Earrings.

Beautiful pair of vintage clip-on earrings, rectangular shaped, with a marcasite-mounted frame surrounding the New Zealand jade stones (NZ jade is called greenstone or pounamu in NZ - it is nephrite jade). The frame is possibly silver, but no markings. Earrings measure 1.7 cm by 1.4 cm. They are in excellent condition, no losses at all. Date is probably circa 1950s to 60s.
