Vintage Gold, Opal and Diamond Ring

Oval opal showing plenty of fire - mostly green, blue and orange/pink - mounted ina 9ct yellow gold raised basket setting.  The stone is a solid opal. The band is flat, measuring 4 mm wide at the shoulders, and tapering to 2 mm wide at the rear of the finger. The opal is surrounded by 6 small spaced diamonds, mounted into white gold. Face of the ring measures 9  mm wide by 10 mm. Ring fitting is NZ/UK size L (USA size 5.1/2) with an internal diameter of approx. 16.10 mm.  Stamped 9ct inside the band. TW: 2.5g.  Excellent pre-owned condition.
