Victorian Large Cheese Dish.

Large cheese-wedge dish, cream-glazed earthenware. I can't identify the mark - it is blurred - but certainly from Staffordshire. Large wedge, wth floral designs. and gilded rims (worn in places). Item measures (triangular) 22cm by 22 cm, the base, and slightly smaller for the top. It is approx. 19 cm high. Condition is used - there is stained crazing to the floor of the base, and also to the insides of the lid. There are old hairline cracks inside the lid, but they are not going anywhere. Definitely a piece which has had an active life. Great decor item, dating from late 1800s.
