Victorian Brooch and Earrings Set.

Probably made as a mourning set, these items have hand-painted white flowers on a black background. The frames are a Roman key design in gold and black. The case is probably once been silver plate over brass, but mostly shows the brass now.  The earrings are for pierced ears, with curved hook wires. The oval brooch has the typical Victorian very long pin. Condition to the face of the items is very good. The rears have age wear to the plate (not visible to the face) and a very shallow kink in the pin. Would date from late 1800s to 1900.  Brooch measures 5 cm by 4.25 cm. The earrings measure 2.3 cm by 1.8 cm. The drop from the ear is just under 3 cm.
