Swedish Signed Retro Brooch.

Striking pewter Modernist brooch-  maker is Rune Tennesmed. (The internet tells me that Rune Tennesmed was a 20th century Swedish designer who worked primarily in pewter. He changed his birth name of Rune Carlsson to Tennesmed (Swedish for pewtersmith) to reflect his profession). He worked in the mid 20th century and made many Modernist and perhaps even Brutalist designs in pewter jewellery. This example has his stamp on the rear, and measures 4.8 cm wide by 3.4 cm. Swivel safety catch on clasp. Excellent condition, pre-owned. This would look so nice on a jacket.
