Engraved “Kingfish 1946”. Hallmarked for sterling silver, London 1936. Maker’s mark is H.B.S. There is a further name stamped, that of Benzie, Cowes (Isle of Wight), who have a long-established prestigious business in Yachting and Sporting jewellery, jewellery and items of vertue. Item measures 6.2 cm long by 3.9 cm wide and 2 cm high. Minor usage marks, and a bit of  black smudge in the white section of the flag. There is a little dent on the sides of the opening for the matchbox, and a little fading to the K of Kingfisher. This would have been an expensive item when new, now it’s a collectors piece of boating or shipping memorabilia - TSW: 36.1 grams.
