Edwardian period smelling salts bottle with hinged sterling silver lid and crystal base. Lovely engraved pattern to top of lid (if this is supposed to be initials, I can’t make them out at all). British hallmark for Birmingham 1902. Bottle Measures 8.6 cm high by 4.6 cm diameter. Very good condition, possibly once had an inner glass stopper under lid. Lid fits very snugly though.  Attractive bottle for a collection.
