Silver and Hematite Ring.

Antique ring, silver  mounted with an oval, faceted piece of hematite. "Hematite is characterized by its magnetic and metallic properties, and is supposedly good for supporting the circulatory system, and aiding in iron absorption" according to various sources. It doesn't like too much moisture or heat, so best not worn when cooking or bathing. This pretty ring has naturally tarnished silver,  with a floral motif on each shoulder containing three small silver balls.  The band is a double strand of silver.  Hematite measures 14.30 mm by 10.43 mm approx. The ring fitting is NZ/UK size K (USA size 5.1/4) with an internal diameter of 16.30 mm. Very good condition.
