Sheffield Plate Sugar Basket with Blue Glass Liner.

Antique Sheffield plate 19th century sugar basket. Urn design with swing handle and pierced work border of leaves. Open work basket with initials panel bearing the initial "M" - or could be two initials ""TC." or "JC". Bristol blue glass liner. Basket measures 16.5 cm with the handle in the up position. With handle down, it is 11 cm high. Length 13 cm, width 10.5 cm. Some copper bleed showing, mainly to the foot. Very attractive item.
