Pretty, Vintage Hammersley Coffee Can and Saucer.

Bone china cup and saucer for coffee - made by Stoke-on-Trent company, Hammersley & Co, who made very fine china, and are renowned for their pretty patterns and designs. Lovely fluted rim to the cup with gilding, and the same gilding to the handle, design background and saucer rim. Cup is 6 cm high with a top rim of 5.5 cm diameter. Saucer is 11 cm diameter. Condition: when you look into the coffee can from the top, you can see what looks like a little hairline crack on one side of the bottom, however, this does not penetrate through to the outside of the base. Otherwise, excellent condition all round.
