Pendant or Brooch, Hand Painted Miniature of Woman, Antique.

Two-tone gold and silver filigree mount to this beautiful pendant or brooch. It is a hand painted miniature of a woman in 19th century dress. Silver gilt, silver is .800 quality. The backing to the painting appears to be very fine grain leather. Trombone style clasp for the brooch fitting, which would date this from circa 1890 to 1910. European Continental origin. Excellent condition.
