Pair of Silver Plate Fish Servers, Ornate Handles.
Very nice quality flatware: Victorian period fish serving set. The handles have a sort of bamboo design, and the tines and blade are engraved with a pattern of leaves and general foliage. Maker’s mark is L & W. (George Shadford Lee & Henry Wigfull) with a registration number dating them to 1885. They are English in origin, from Sheffield. Serving knife is 28 cm long, and the fork is 21.5 cm long. Very good condition, no wear to the silver plating.
