Ngaruawahia Railway Bridge Cup and Saucer.

Fine white porcelain commemorative cup and saucer, showing a black-and-white scene of the New Zealand railway bridge opened in 1910 at Ngaruawahia. Gilded decoration. Maker is Victoria China, Austria, who made souvenir china for many different countries.  Cup measures 7.9 cm diameter at the rim. and 5.5 cm high. Saucer is 14 cm diameter. Very good condition, no chips or cracks. Some very slight wear to the gilding. Unusual item, excellent for railway memorabilia collectors, as there are very few such items made for New Zealand.
