Mintons Coronation Mug, 1937.

Commemorating the Coronation of George VI and Queen Elizabeth in May 1937 - these are the parents of the current queen.  Their royal cipher is on one side of the mug, and “Dieu et Mon Droit” on the front. Earthenware, with the official design mark for the coronation, and the Mintons mark. Measures 9 cm high  and 11 cm wide including the handle. Excellent condition.
