Mauve Glass Vinegar Jug.

Moulded glass vintage jug with stopper and handle. Pontil mark to bottom. Large concave roundels pattern to sides of jug, which is 6 sided. attractive ridged handle. Neck has an internal rough edge, where people have banged the stopper down over the years. Same underneath the stopper, or this could a pontil mark.. Measures 8 cm high and 6 cm diameter not including the handle. Apart from the neck, it is in very good condition. Could need a wash-out with white vinegar, as there is some residue in the inside bottom. Concave base. Gorgeous colour. Early half of 20th century.
