Little Mother of Pearl Shell Trinket Box.

Decorative little shell - lovely pearly colours of cream, pink and green. Brass flip down catch. Interior is blue moirè, and once had little compartments unfolding - now gone however, these are torn. You could remove the central pocket and tidy the remains of the  side pockets, and it would make a pretty little pill case or small earrings case. Item measures 6.9 cm wide by 4.8 cm. It is 2.7 cm high. Very pretty item, dating from the 1800s.
