Japanese Woodblock Print, Signed Kitagawa Utamaro.
Three beauties of the Kansei Era. Geisha girl Tomimoto Toyohina, and two tea-house waitresses Naniwaya Kita and Takashima Hisa. The artist is Kitagawa Utamaro (1753-1806). Beautiful print, in excellent condition. Framed in a plain dark wood frame with a white matt. Apart from the signature of the artist, there is another line of Japanese writing down the left lower side of the print. Whole measures 47 cm high by 35 cm wide.
