Georgian Period Porcelain Tea Bowl.
Antique fluted porcelain tea-bowl, with cobalt blue and gilded decoration and a scalloped rim. Maker’s mark is “S” - possibly Caughley, who had a printed underglaze mark circa 1775-1790. Bowl measures just under 5 cm high (2 inches) and 8.7 cm diameter. Age wear to the gilding, with areas missing, but no damage to the bowl itself. Lovely antique piece of English pottery history.
