Silver plate short skewer with finial of sea serpents and scrolls. Maker is Elkington & Co, and it would date around later quarter of 1800s. Very nice ornamentation to the finial, with tiny stippled details. Meat skewer measures a total of 14.5 cm long, with the blade being 9.2 cm of that. Finial is 3.6 cm wide. Excellent condition.
