Edwardian Vesta Match Tin with Photo Compartment.

Early 1900s vesta tin, for small Vesta matches. Striker strip is on the rear of the tin. It has a little round frame on the lid, which is accessed through the inside of the lid - for a small photo, or similar. Tin is a little battered, lid doesn’t close firmly.  It measures 4.4 cm wide by 2.8 cm, and 1.1 cm high. The metal is possibly nickel silver or brass. Quaint, unusual little item.
