Lovely pressed brass clip for holding letters or papers. Can be hung on the wall, or used on a desk.  Flower with foliage motif, on a foliage-scrolled base. There is an impressed round stamp reading Merry Phipson & & Parker Ltd. Letter Clip. Patented 1845. Item measures 15 cm long by 5.5 cm wide. The spring is in very good firm order. Excellent condition, and very decorative.
