This set has a definite retro vibe, with the generous oval sauce jug and matching oval saucer in the Pine design. It has detergent-proof colours, and is an attractive dark grey/blue, with a pale blue interior to the jug. Both in very good condition, pre-owned and used.  The backstamp under the saucer reads: Pine, pattern no. 487, Styled by Dorothy Thorpe of California. Crown Lynne Potteries, New Zealand. Detergent Proof Colours".  Saucer measures 23.5 cm wide and 15.25 cm across. Jug is 6.5 cm high, 20 cm long including spout and handle, and 10.25 cm wide.
