Ship S.S. Orcades Butterfly Wing and Sterling Silver Brooch.

Lovely butterfly wing brooch, showing the S.S. Orcades with her distinctive sand-coloured hull against a background of iridescent blue butterfly wing. Sterling silver mount with rope twist edge. Stamped to the rear "Made in England. Sterling Silver". I think this is the last Orcades, built in 1948. Brooch measures 27 mm by 22 mm. Excellent condition.
