Cockerel Cocktail Sticks, Silver, 1933.
Rooster or cockerel finials to this set of six sterling silver cocktail drinks sticks, made by Adolph Scott, Birmingham, UK. Hallmark for Birmingham 1933. They have little hooks at the rear, to go over the rim of a glass. The stem has flattened base, which was used to stir the drink. Cherries or olives or similar could have been mounted on the stem. Measurements: 8 cm long. Excellent condition. Nice detail to the cockerel.
