Carved Bone Early 20th Century Necklace.

Attractive necklace with bone beads carved as flowers, inter-spaced by plain round beads. Beads are graduated in size. Screw clasp. This was a popular style in the early 1900s plus. This one is strung on waxed thread. The twine has stretched a bit over the years, so beads are strung a little looseley. They could be restrung, or just let the twine areas share equal spacing each side of the clasp. Largest beads are 13 mm diameter, and smallest are the plain beads near the clasp at 5 mm diameter. The total length of the necklace is 440 mm long.
