Art Nouveau Pewter Clock.
Very nice Edwardian-period Art Nouveau clock. Early 1900s. The wooden case is covered with beaten pewter with Art Nouveau motifs. This was part of my own clock collection, and unfortunately, the movement (which was a "tin" movement) stopped working, and was proclaimed unrepairable by our brilliant local clock repairer. It has had a battery-operated movement fitted, which works well. There is no back to the clock, as it was an integral part of the old movement. However, as this is a mantel clock (slim to fit a mantlepiece) this isn't a problem. Clock measures 23 cm (9 inches) high and 10.5 cm wide at the base. It is 5.5 cm deep at the base, and 4.5 cm deep from there up. The case is in excellent condition, and the design is lovely.
