Antique Silver Thimble in Jockey Cap Case

Very nice sterling silver thimble, hallmarked for Birmingham 1888. Maker is James Fenton. Novelty jockey cap case, green velvet - somewhat worn, but very cute. Red silk head lining with “Hallmarked” stamped on it in gold. The cap peak was once red silk, but is worn away. The thimble is small, with an internal diameter of 12.5 mm at the rim. Thimble has one small shallow dent, but in very good condition otherwise.
