Antique French Portrait Miniature, Young Woman with Book.

Well painted oval portrait miniature of seated woman with her book - the book is entitled "L'Art J'Aimer".  The frame is ormolu. Portrait is painted on either mica or fine stiffened vellum. Whole measures 11 cm by 9 cm. Painting is in excellent condition. The plaque would have been fitted inside an outer frame, and would need to be again for hanging or display.
