Antique Carriage Lamp, Victorian Period.

Mid to late 1800s carriage candle lamp, oval face, made to hold a candle. One sided window, one rear red glass circular panel. Measures 50 cm high, by 15 cm by 15 cm. Copper mounting pole. Tin body. Glass is bevelled. Two-tier vent structure at top, giving it a slightly Oriental look. Condition is very original - dents to pole, one very tight crack to glass, a couple of minor small rust spots to body. Would sand and paint nicely though. A good mellow lamp, hasn’t been gussied up.
