18ct Gold and Ruby Ring.

Mid 20th century, 18ct gold crossover ring mounted with 28 round-cut rubies. We have a valuation for this ring,  which describes it as"Crossover gold wire ring, hand assembled in 18ct gold, with claw-set rubies in white gold collets. Stamped 750.  28 round-cut rubies, colour darkish purplish red, 1.3-1.7 mm diameter, 0.50ct total. Total item weight:  12g.  Item is in good condition and stones are secure." Ring size is NZ/UK size N (USA size 6.1/2). The face of the ring measures approx. 2.2 cm wide by 1.85 mm top to bottom. Band at rear of finger is approx. 0.65 cm. Very unusual, custom made ring.
