Free-standing shield-shaped mirror on turned wood supports for use on top of chest of drawers, dresser, or dressing table. Made circa early to mid 1800s. Mahogany with satinwood stringing to legs and mirror frame. It measures 57 cm high by 42.5cm wide and 24 cm deep. There are some water spots to the left leg, at the rear, and the centre turned wood spindle joining the two sides has either been stripped and repolished, or is a replacement. All round, very sound usable condition.
