Made by a very collectible maker, Charles Horner, this 1937 brooch shows the crown, the initials G & E (for George and Elizabeth - the late queen’s mother and father), and the date May 1937.The underneath of the bar at rear is stamped C.H. and Sterling Silver.  Item measures 6.42 cm wide by 2.05 cm high. Enamel work to crown and date panel. Safety-pin style brooch clasp. Excellent condition.
