9ct rose gold locket which slides open to reveal two interior spaces for small photos (usually part of photos). The face of the locket has a large heart outline, with lovely engraved borders around it, and a suspension loop for your chain at the top. The rear is plain, and carries the "9ct" gold stamp at the bottom. To open it, you insert your thumb nails into the groove and pull the sides apart. It clicks closed when closing. You can change the photos by flicking out the band around the photo (use a finger nail ) and then lifting out the photo from underneath. Item measures 2.244 cm diameter, and 0.63 cm thick. Very good condition for the age - a tiny minor dent to the rear, and an even tinier one to the front. Probably dates circa 1930s-50s.
