Unusual pair of silver plated knife or spoon rests in the form of birds, carrying the rest bar across their backs. Birds sit on a rack amid foliage. Each rest measures3.8 cm high by 10.2 cm wide. They date from the mid to late 1800s, and are in very good condition.
