Wedgwood Lidded Pitcher, Mid to Late 1800s.
Blue and white jasperware jug with silver-plate swing tilt lid. Classical scenes with women and cherubs. The impressed mark underneath is “Wedgwood Etruria” “England”, a mark that was adopted in 1840, had England added to it in 1891 and was only used for a short . Jug is slightly conical, and measures 11.6 cm high with a base of 7.5 cm diameter tapering to the top rim of 6.5 cm diameter. Excellent condition, with just a little even wear to the top of the lid.
