Large high-glaze blueish ginger jar or pot - brush design in blue.  Underglaze painter's mark under the base. Measures 17 cm high and approx. 15.5 cm diameter.  Excellent condition except for a pale brown stain on one side (see images).   I have no idea of the true age of this item - it is possibly Chinese (Ming), or later Korean, from the Joseon or Choson period. Good wear to base rim.
