Georgian Davenport Hunt Jug.

A Georgian period Davenport hunting jug, squat baluster shape, white with brick red top. Impressed marks for the 1805 to 1820 period. Embossed sides show the hound pack with a fox that they have run to ground, and the horses standing as their riders scramble over a fence to join the hounds. The jug measures 18cm high and 23cm wide handle to spout. In excellent condition - no chips or cracks - but there is some colour missing from the brick red painted top section.
