Sterling Silver Life Saving Medal 1918

An antique sterling silver medal, with a scene of a figure about to dive into the water, where another figure raises an arm from the water in a cry for assistance. No one won this medal though, as-the reverse of the medal is blank, apart from the hallmark, which is Birmingham 1918, maker 's mark V & S.  In excellent condition. Medal measures 2.8cm (1.1/8 inches) diameter. TW: 12.6g
