Wooden panel, red-lacquered with gilded highlights. Carved back.  Depicts lotus flower with what could either be a bird or a flying fish. Octagonal shape mounted on square board.Split in one side of frame, small split on one branch - both would rejoin well. Square (almost) measures 19.5 cm by 20.5 cm. Very good condition. Great decorative piece. We have similar oblong panels elsewhere in this category.
