Badge: N.E. Sagres. a Portuguese Tall Ship.

Brooch-style badge with the heading area "N.E. Sagres", and the drop being a ship's wheel with enamel depiction of the tall ship Sagres in the centre. The outer navy blue enamelled ring has the words " Honarai Que A Patria Vos Contempla A Patria"  (Portuguese navy ships motto: "Honour the Motherland, for the Motherland beholds you"). This is the Sagres 1, built in 1851 in Limehouse, England, for the Portuguese Navy. The name "Sagres" means Sacred.   Brooch-style badge with the heading area "N.E.
