This is a lovely Art Deco necklace, faceted oval beads, graduated sizes, all linked by wire. Beautiful dark wine red. Largest bead measures 2.1 cm diameter and 3.3 cm long. Smallest are 0.6 cm diameter and 1 cm long. Excellent condition. Total length is approx. 50 cm. No clasp, pull over your head style. Amberine was a common name used for a bead which is usually made either from bakelite or reconstituted amber. These would date from the 1920s, and would be perfect for a Deco costume.
