Round cone-shaped brooch, made in tortoiseshell with inlaid gold pique.  Brooch measures 34 mm diameter and 13 mm high. Modern fitting at rear.  Possibly this was once part of a necklace or pendant. Very good condition. Victorian period, late 19th century.
