Sterling silver necklace with three hearts, each having an inlaid pattern of geometric shapes, which are separated by a silver feather.  This item is either Mexican or Navajo in origin - on the feathers the mark is a star and a 9, and on the reverse of the hearts is "Ster" for sterling silver. The drop pendant at the bottom of the necklace shows a skirted figure, with headdress playing a flute or horn. The little silver cones holding the three strands of narrow linked silver tubes are marked as sterling with a sunrise motif over the letters.  Unusually, the necklace clasp is not at the rear of the neck, it is on the top of the left side heart. Total length is 55 cm (21.5/8 inches). The hearts are each approx. 2.2 cm in width and height. Excellent condition. Looks new, but is pre-owned.
