Genuine old tooth, slightly grubby-looking and age worn - the serrations on the edges of the tooth are worn - possibly to make it more comfortable to wear.  The top has a thick jump-ring, which is open  - I'm leaving it open so it can be fitted to a chain or cord. This would look good on one of our silicon neck cords  (put E15577 into the search panel to look at one of these).   Item measures 3.4 cm high and 2.43cm wide at the top.
