Green Malachite Bangle, Vintage.

Brass bangle, with the exterior mounted with faceted malachite. Malachite is a green colour, with striated black through it. It comes from Russia (where Russian tsars lined the walls of their palaces with the stone), also from Zaire, Australia, Chile, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Arizona in the USA. Bracelet is in excellent condition and measures 75 cm diameter externally, and 6.4 cm internally. The inside lining of brass could be polished, or left as is. Probably dates around the1970s.
