Twisted loop-style mount to this old fob spinner. Not sure what the metal is - possibly faintly gilded silver, with the surround to the stones being either also gilded, or brass. On one side of the fob is a round banded agate stone, and the other side is a carnelian. Spinner measures 1.7 cm diameter and 0.06 cm thick. Overall measurement of the pendant is 2.65 cm by 2 cm wide. Fob spinners were worn on a gentleman’s fob watch chain. k. The carnelians were often engraved with initials. This one is blank. There are a few scratches to the agate side, but overall in very nice condition. It would date around early 1900s plus.
