Vintage costume jewellery - using faux sapphires and diamonds (both are crystals, and look very realistic) mounted in silver plate (to imitate white gold). Very pretty design of linked panels with double scrolls on the main part of the necklace, and single scrolls on the smaller section leading up to the rear of the neck. Necklace is adjustable length, having a 6.5 cm extension chain, ended with a blue “sapphire” stone. Total length of actual necklace is 37 cm, extending to 42 cm. It is 1.2 cm wide at the larger panels. Larger blue crystals are 0.09 cm by 0.075 cm. The bracelet is fitted with a safety chain, and uses the larger double scrolled panels. It is 17.5 cm long. There are nineteen small clear crystals absent: two little round ones adjacent to the blue stone at the end of the necklace’s extension chain, and the others in the scroll patterns - the bracelet has one stone missing - because the crystals are clear, and the setting is silver coloured, you do not notice these - I had to use a jeweller’s loupe to find them. This is a very attractive set, a real glamour party piece probably from the 1960s to 1980s.
