Oval vintage genuine shell cameo, with a carved decoration of a cherub helping a nymph with a large basket of flowers. Mounted in silver (unmarked) with a safety swivel catch, and a suspension ring - to be used either for a safety chain, or for a chain to wear as a pendant. Brooch measures 3.9 cm by 3 cm. Very good condition.
